Kindness Matters NPC | For Volunteers 18 Years and Older

By clicking “I Agree” below, I confirm that I am 18 years of age or older and that I fully understand and accept the terms outlined in this agreement.

I acknowledge that I am volunteering my time and services to Kindness Matters NPC (the “Organisation”) of my own free will. I understand that my volunteer work may involve physical activities, including lifting, carrying, walking, working outdoors, or handling supplies, and I voluntarily accept all risks associated with such activities.

I confirm that I am in good physical and mental health and able to safely perform the tasks assigned to me. I agree to inform the Organisation if I am unfit or feel unsafe to participate in any activity.

I agree to follow all instructions given by representatives of Kindness Matters and to conduct myself in a respectful and responsible manner. I will not attend any activities while under the influence of alcohol or drugs, and I will wear suitable clothing and footwear for physical work.

I understand and accept that the Organisation, its staff, trustees, volunteers, and affiliates will not be held liable for any injury, illness (including COVID-19 or other illnesses), loss, damage, or death that may occur during or as a result of my participation, unless caused by proven gross negligence.

I voluntarily waive and release any and all claims against Kindness Matters NPC arising from my participation in its activities or events.

In the event of an emergency, I consent to receive necessary medical treatment and accept responsibility for any costs incurred.

This agreement is governed by the laws of the Republic of South Africa (or relevant jurisdiction).
